πŸ€” Sensitive Skin Sufferer? Best Affordable Skincare Products For Sensitive Skin πŸ™Œ

Speaking as somebody who has always suffered with sensitive skin, it’s a common thing to find a skincare product that has amazing reviews, but then ends up burning my skin and leaving me looking as red as a lobster. So, it was my mission to find a skincare brand that actually suited my sensitive skin; and I did just that!
So if you suffer with sensitive skin just like me, then this blog post is the one for you. I really wanted to share these recommendations with everyone else because I understand the frustration and disappointment of thinking that you have a great facial wash and then having your skin feel like it’s literally on fire five minutes later. Not fun, I know.

The thing is – there is so much more to skincare products than just the brand, or what’s on the label. It’s really important to know what you’re actually putting onto your skin, and what chemicals are actually in the products you’re using. I will try to explain this as much as possible in each product, so you know what exactly to look out for in the future when picking out skincare products; especially for those of you sensitive skin sufferers.

Simple – Hydrating Light Moisturizer β™‘
Moisturizer is the best thing that actually exists. I feel like this moisturizer works absolute wonders for my face; it’s really soothing, soft and gentle on the skin, and it’s not harsh whatsoever. If I could only use one skincare product for the rest of my life, it would definitely 100% be moisturizer – and to be more specific, Simple Hydrating Light Moisturizer. It leaves my skin looking radiant and glowing, something that I’ve surprisingly never found in a moisturizer before. So, the brand Simple don’t use any harsh chemicals or perfumes, and no artificial colour, meaning that it suits sensitive skin extremely well.

Vitamins:
  • ProVitamin B5 – (Pantothenic acid; which “has natural broad abilities to moisturize, soothe, heal and regenerate the skin”).
  • Vitamin E – (It “acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals”).

Simple – Soothing Facial Toner β™‘
I think that a lot of people don’t tend to realize how important or useful toner actually is! And surprise surprise, Simple Soothing Facial Toner is the best one yet, and here’s why. So first of all, it’s the most long-lasting, hydrating toner that I have ever tried. It’s super absorb-able and absorbs into the skin straight away, leaving the skin feeling so pure and refreshed. I put on the moisturizer above, followed by this toner and my skin feels so clean and natural, it really does leave that highlight-effect glow on my skin. It smells amazing even though there are no harsh perfumes or chemicals, just like the moisturizer, and it really does give my skin such a fresh-faced look whilst noticeably helping to fight away spots and problem areas! It’s also 100% alcohol free, unlike some other toners, which is great for sensitive skin as it means no harsh chemicals.

Vitamins:
  • ProVitamin B5 – (Pantothenic acid; which “has natural broad abilities to moisturize, soothe, heal and regenerate the skin”).
  • Witch Hazel – (It removes “excess oil from skin. This is the reason why witch hazel is one of the most popular natural acne treatments in the world”).

Boots Essentials – Cucumber Facial Wash & Cucumber Cleansing Lotion β™‘
Again, for sensitive skin sufferers, this is an amazing brand alongside Simple that works wonders for sensitive, tender skin! And that brand is none other than Boots Essen
tials, which just like Simple is affordable & cheap, it’s not one of these really expensive skincare brands that charge an arm and a leg and then end up irritating your skin anyway! So I would first of all say that I completely recommend using the cucumber facial wash along with the cucumber cleansing lotion as a pair; because they work so well along side each other and work together as they have their own perks and positive effects. The facial wash is so refreshing and really does make your skin feel and look cleaner – within just one week, I noticed my skin appearing softer and more youthful and radiant. Along with the cleansing lotion, it really does work deep into the skin and you can definitely feel this happening day by day. The cucumber also leaves the skin smelling insane and of – you guessed it – cucumber. It doesn’t feel at all greasy on the skin and has no harsh product that may make your skin flare up.

Vitamins:
  • Paraffinum Liquidum – (is a “natural emollient, meaning it adds moisture to the sink while the wax is applied, but it also helps create moisture in your skin long after the treatment is complete”).
  • Vitamin A Palmitate – (is considered to be a “gentler, milder form of Vitamin A. It’s a combination of retinol and palmitic acid, it has been found in studies to be an effective antioxidant”).

β™‘ Well that’s it for my Best Skincare Products For Sensitive Skin! At least for now, anyway! I really hope this post was helpful for those of you who do suffer with sensitive skin like myself and struggle to find the right products for you. I also hope it helped anyone who’s looking for a new skincare range to find out in general – as they are also great for any skin types, not just sensitive. I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for staying and reading. If you have any skincare products that you recommend or suggest then be sure to let me know! See you soon…

Thanks for this, I have sensitive skin as well that's why I am scared on applying something to my face unless they are hypoallergenic, Id love to try that toner since all the toner I have tried were all irritating and strong. I am also using cucumber facial wash which are really mild and good for my skin.
