Being a student who works part-time along side College, as much as I would love to, I really can’t afford luxurious make-up brands unless I save up for months. So, this is why drugstore make-up brands are my actual life saver because I can actually afford them. Personally, I think that drugstore brands can be just as good as any other high-end brand, especially the brand Collection. Collection are my fave drugstore brand as everything they use just seems to suit my skin and complexion really well. So, today I’m going to be sharing my fave Collection products & reviewing them!
So I’ve always used this primer and it’s really softening on my skin, leaving it feeling fresh and smooth. This primer has a built in reviving and anti-fatigue formula which is actually really visible and noticeable, and really effective. It gets rid of my eye bags, impurities and flaws, and leaves my skin looking really bright and illuminating my dull skin. It’s very cool and pink toned, which again gets rid of any yellowing of my face and creates a nice base for my make-up to be applied on; making it last all day and my make-up doesn’t move once!
So I honestly couldn’t live without setting powder, whether it be loose powder or pressed. This particular powder is actually pressed however becomes loose once used. It’s really light-weight and loose however is enough to provide full coverage and set my make-up just perfectly. It doesn’t make my foundation slip as I apply it, which some setting powder actually does, it sets it really nicely and leaves my face looking really soft, fresh and not cakey at all, which again some setting powders can do. Again, with this product, a little goes a long way. I also bake with this powder which leaves my make-up looking sharp and precise.
, some for highlight and some for contour. The highlight is really sleek and vibrant, leaving my face looking bright and defined. The contour colours are really soft and subtle so you are able to build it up, and it really does define my cheekbones and leaves such a professional looking result at the end!
